OCP Multi-Site Industrial Operations — Morocco
Industrial photography delivered across five locations in Morocco, capturing research, industrial production and export infrastructure within one coordinated multi-site assignment.
This project involved a seven-day production across Marrakesh, Ben Guerir, El Jorf Lasfar Port, El Jadida and Casablanca for OCP, one of the world’s largest phosphate producers. The requirement was to create a consistent body of imagery representing research capability, industrial operations and logistics infrastructure across geographically separate environments.
Part of the assignment was delivered as a Hybrid Production, working in association with UM6P at the Ben Guerir campus. Campus imagery was supplied in return for access to research facilities, creating value for both organisations through one coordinated production.
The final output needed to function as a unified image library suitable for stakeholder communication, reporting and commercial use.
CLIENT: OCP
PARTNER: UM6P
SECTOR: Mining / Chemicals / Industrial Production
LOCATION: Marrakesh / Ben Guerir / El Jorf Lasfar / El Jadida / Casablanca, Morocco
ENVIRONMENT: Multi-site research, industrial processing and port infrastructure
DURATION: 7 Days
SCOPE: Stills production across multiple locations
MODEL: Multi-Site Project / Hybrid Production
Approach & Operational Reality
The production moved continuously between urban, academic, industrial and port environments over seven days, requiring tight coordination across locations, access schedules and travel windows. Each site presented different operational conditions, from controlled research environments to heavy industrial processing areas and large-scale export infrastructure.
Climate was a defining factor throughout the assignment. Temperatures ranged from 22°C to 46°C, affecting movement, energy management and production timing. A major sand storm disrupted travel to one location, creating visibility and transport challenges.
Preparation prevented these conditions from interrupting delivery. Language barriers, environmental risk and movement between sites had been planned for in advance, allowing production to continue without loss of continuity. The focus remained on maintaining a consistent visual standard across every location despite changes in environment, climate and access conditions.
Outcomes & Use
The final material was built as a coherent multi-site library, combining industrial, academic and infrastructure coverage into one aligned output.
Research and innovation imagery from UM6P Ben Guerir campus
Industrial production coverage across OCP operational sites
Port and export infrastructure imagery from El Jorf Lasfar
City and environmental context across Morocco locations
Material suitable for stakeholder communication, reporting and commercial use
The result is a unified body of work representing OCP’s wider operation as an integrated system, connecting research, production and export capability across multiple sites.
